From the pedestrians' deck in front of Sendai Station, you can see Mt. Aobayama through the Zelkova tree lined Avenue. The area is crowded with banks and other office buildings which are all within walking distance. To the west lies Ichibancho Shopping Mall. This also connects to the main street heading towards the site of Sendai Castle.
