Outline

Wild plants and trees are seperately planted under several classified groups: high mountain, seaside, herbs, and hagi (Japanese bush clover). Various events such as the Spring Poem Festival (Haruno-Utano-tsudoi), Hagi festival, and Plant Appreciation Festival are planned for visitors to appreciate plants.

Highlights

At the Wild Plant Park you can see beautiful lawned slopes, experience first hand arched tunnels of hagi flowers against your cheek. Komakusa, which blooms in the high mountains, Hyotan-ike Pond tadpoles and various seasonal flower are also highlights.
