Miyagi Stadium

This stadium is the home field of the "Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles", a professional baseball team newly born in Sendai. The facilities include major-league type seating sections, as well as semi-underground type of "Sunakaburi-seki" seats (ringside seats) behind homebase so that visitors can enjoy the live action. The stadium has a seating capacity of 23,000. It has a wingspan of 101.5 meters and a diameter of 122.2 meters, which is the longest among those of the twelve professional baseball teams.

Access
- On foot: from JR Sendai Sta. (East entrance). Go down Miyagino Odori (Miyagino Avenue). Walk 20 min.
- By train: from JR Sendai Sta. Take the JR Senseki Line. Get off at Miyagino-hara Sta. 5 min. walk/ at Tsutsujigaoka Sta. 7 min. walk
※On the days of night games, after 21:00, trains are available at 5-10 minute intervals each hour (between Aoba-dori Sta. and Kozurusinden Sta., JR Senseki Line)
- Shuttle bus:2 routes (Operate only on official ball games of major league teams)

(1) From Sendai Sta. (East entrance) to Fullcast Stadium, every 5-10 min., Adult:

To the stadium: Starts 2 hours before the game
From the stadium: Until 1 hour after the game

(2) From Municipal Building, Jozenji-dori, to the stadium, every 30 min., Adult:
200 (child: 100)
To the stadium: 4 times, starts 2 hours before the game
From the stadium: 4 times, starts running just before the game ends
- Parking: Miyagiken Miyaginohara-koen Sogo-undojo Chusha-jo near the stadium, tickets must be purchased in advance. This applies on dates of professional ball games only. Please note that the car park cannot be used without a ticket.
