Akiu Glass Blowing Experience at Glass Studio Gen

Enjoy a rare experience where the owner, who is active as one of the leading kaleidoscope glassblowers in Japan, teaches you a private glassblowing lesson! The instructor makes sure you are safe while he points out suggestions to make your own original art even more beautiful.

You can choose from a variety of designs such as cups, bowls, single-flower vases, and wind chimes, also you can choose from 20 colors.

Target: Participants should be 5 years old or older (those under 13 years old should be accompanied by a guardian)
① In the studio, decide the design and color you want to make while looking at the samples.
② Move to the studio and receive a lecture on the work process and how to use the tools.
③ Experience blowing glass! Use your breath to blow into the glass.
④ Mold the glass using a special instrument.

From this point, leave your creation with the glass artist.
⑤ Cool the glass overnight in a slow cooling furnace.
