In “Let's Use Stone Tools,” you can experience cutting paper with stone tools made by the Sendai City Tomizawa Site Museum staff. Since the staff will carefully explain instructions, even small children can safely enjoy the experience. Adults can also participate, so please join and see for yourself how sharp stone tools are.

Sendai City Tomizawa Site Museum

This is a theme museum centered on the Paleolithic Age. Paleolithic remains from 20,000 years ago were excavated from the Tomizawa site at this location. The ruins are preserved and open for public viewing. Also, there are exhibitions about the environment and human activities of the period based on discovered materials.
