Travel Scrapbook Map Workshop in Sendai
Returning from your trip, organizing souvenirs, tickets, shop cards, etc. and collecting memories into a scrapbook style map can be fun but it may be delayed for various reasons. In this scrapbook workshop you'll be able to complete a collection of memories while traveling in Sendai!
Select Application Method
Make a list of the foods and drinks you enjoyed at restaurants, souvenirs you bought, and tourism spots you visited. You can print and paste photos from your smartphone on A3 size Miyagi / Sendai maps and begin creating your scrapbook style map.
In this workshop you'll be able to record, organize and complete your travel memories while still in Sendai! After completion, it's snack time. Enjoy a baked confectionery recommended by a popular local confectionery writer. While enjoying Mary's original rice crackers, we can talk about our favorite spots and recommendations in Sendai! (Please note that snacks will be taken home while Covid-19 safety measures are in place.)
* Workshops are offered from 13:00 on Monday, December 20th, 2021.
After that, workshops are held anytime by reservation.

As a label from Sendai, I send out fun things, cute things, and comfortable things with the theme of ``cute Sendai'' such as original kokeshi dolls and kokeshi miscellaneous goods. There are also stories about Christmas characters and animal that will make you want to chuckle!! Workshops are held 2-3 times a month, depending on the season, in the conference room of the coworking space STUDIO 080. There will also be new workshops where you can enjoy Sendai.

At the venue, Merirabo, there are pop-up shops and exhibitions of works, so you can also see many interesting items. At the main store, there are a lot of miscellaneous goods with the theme of "cute Sendai"!

陸奥国分寺薬師堂
伊達政宗公の命により再建された陸奥国分寺の金堂です。慶長12（1607）年落慶した現存する桃山建築の代表的建造物の一つで、国指定重要文化財です。本尊薬師如来に因み薬師堂と通称されています。天平年間に聖武天皇の勅願に基づいて建立された金光明四天王護國之寺のうち最北に位置する奥州鎮護の根本道場です。祈願寺としては東北で最も由緒正しき仙台市民の守本尊です。
