Experience calligraphy in Sendai - Write down your travel memories -
Create a one-of-a-kind piece of calligraphy as a memento of your trip. Why not try out calligraphy, a traditional Japanese culture, during your trip to Sendai? In this experience, you will express your feelings and impressions from your trip in calligraphy, and take home a one-of-a-kind original work. Anyone, including those with no calligraphy experience and children, is welcome to join us. Create a special experience by putting your wonderful memories of your trip into calligraphy.

This is a calligraphy experience that allows you to experience Japanese culture in a short time while staying in Sendai. In about 30 minutes, you can complete a "calligraphy" that contains the memories of your trip, frame it, and take it home.
■Experience flow■
①Greetings and explanation (0-5 minutes): A careful lecture on the basic use of brushes and ink. You will think together with the calligrapher about "characters" that express your travel memories and feelings.
②Brush training and practice (5-15 minutes): Practice the selected characters several times and receive advice on brush strokes and balance.
③Final copy and framing (15-25 minutes): Your own characters, which have been faired on Japanese paper, will be framed. An authentic "seal" will be stamped on the work to enhance its perfection.
④Photo shoot and handover (25-30 minutes): The completed work will be handed over on the spot. There are also photo spots that look great on SNS, so you can take photos of your travel memories. Recommended for those who want to casually experience Japanese culture during their trip.
