Taste the amazing "Shine Muscat" grape for yourself! This high quality grape variety was made by combining new technology and the history of Yamamoto Town.

At the Grape Forest Maruta sightseeing vineyard, you can enjoy all-you-can-eat grape picking for 40 minutes on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays only. The varieties are "Shine Muscat" which can be eaten with the skin, "Pione" which has a large size, and "Takasumi" which is a rare variety with a high sugar content and richness.

We will guide tourists to the area where grapes are their most delicious that day (based on natural aging, amount of sunlight exposure, etc.). We recommend tasting the sweet and rich “Domaine MARUTA” grapes! They are grown with a new growing method that restricts roots, so the vines are like short trees in pots.

Tadokoro Shokuhin Co., Ltd. was founded in 1918. Our company preserves traditional growing techniques and production methods we have researched and developed for over 100 years. We make authentic grape juice so customers can enjoy the original taste (natural taste) of grapes. Our facilities were destroyed by the Great East Japan Earthquake, but we were able to develop a state-of-the-art growing method using pots that can grow even in areas affected by the tsunami. Also, we are now selling “Shine Muscat” grapes which are eaten with its skin on.

Important Notes for Participants	The vineyard is covered, however during rainy weather the ground can become muddy, so we recommend wearing boots if it has rained recently.
