Sample authentic "Japan-Made" blended whisky made in the Tohoku region (in this case, Miyagi/Fukushima). Learn about the characteristics of each blend and taste the pure local water.

"Japan-Made Blended" was a necessary process to develop Japan’s whisky industry. The process involves blending overseas whisky with whisky made in Japan. During this tasting session you can understand the difference and characteristics of both "Japan-Made Whisky" (taste 2 types) and "Japanese Whisky" (taste 1 type) produced locally in the Tohoku region.

・Mineral water "Suzu-ne" (570ml bottle) from Yamanashi Prefecture near Mt. Fuji

This simple tasting experience is about 10 minutes, so you can visit the shop without a reservation. Our shop stocks about 400 varieties of wine and about 200 varieties of whisky from all over the world, so this is also the perfect place to find a souvenir.

Wine & Whisky BaPhare by Vin et Bonheur is a specialty liquor shop and tasting bar where even beginners can enjoy wine and whisky casually for a reasonable price. We offer a line-up of about 400 types of wine and about 200 types of whisky from around the world carefully selected by certified sommeliers and whisky experts. Some products are available for paid sampling (starting at 90yen for 30ml) and sold by volume so you don’t need to buy an entire bottle. Sample or bring home some Japanese wine or whisky from our shop, which is conveniently located in front of JR Sendai Station, close to Asaichi Morning Market.
