Kimono dressing takes about 30 minutes.
Including time to choose your kimono and take photos inside the shop, the total experience lasts about one hour.
Hair styling is optional—please book in advance if you would like this service.

Five edited photo data will be sent to you after the experience.

KIMONOYA

KIMONOYA offers a wide range of traditional Japanese attire for rent, from vibrant and unique kimono to children’s kimono for Shichi-Go-San, furisode, and wedding attire. Kimono dressing services are also available. You can take photos at our in-store photo spot or at a nearby rental photo studio. Conveniently located in the Ichibancho shopping arcade in Sendai, just a one-minute walk from the main building of Sendai Mitsukoshi, KIMONOYA offers a unique kimono experience for special occasions and unforgettable travel memories. Our return deadline is 8:00 PM, giving you plenty of time to enjoy sightseeing and exploring Sendai. Early morning and late evening appointments are also available by advance reservation, outside our regular business hours.
