Japanese Pear Picking Experience in Sendai

Eight varieties of pears are grown at the Sendai City Agriculture & Horticulture Center. You will pick the most delicious variety at the time of your visit and take it home with you.
Each set of 4-6 pears will be picked to take home.

■Date & Time
Every day except Mondays (or the following weekday if Monday is a national holiday)
Hours: Morning session 10:00 - 11:30 / Afternoon session 13:00 - 15:00
Please finish the reception within the time.
■Contents & Fees
Uniform price for each set
1 set : 1,800 yen (tax included)
4-6 pieces per set *We will inform you of the variety and number of pieces when you register.　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　The number of pieces will vary depending on the variety and size. The variety to be picked also varies depending on the time of year.
Pear varieties are “Kosui”, “Shugyoku”, “Akizuki”, “Nansui”, and “kanta”.

②Early September, 2025 - Variety: shugyoku
③ Late September, 2025 - Variety: Akizuki, Nansui
④Early October 2025 - Variety: Kanta
・Customers can select and pick their own fruit, which they will take home.
・It is not all-you-can-eat event.　
・The time of harvest may vary depending on the growing conditions.

■How to make a reservation
Please make a reservation by phone or online. Reservations are given priority, but same-day reservations are accepted if space is available.
■Same-day registration
Reservations are accepted at the office on the 1st floor of the Administration and Training Building on both weekdays and weekends.
The office is located in front of the Midori-no-Mori Cafe on the 1st floor of the Administration Building.
