Anyone can easily experience gold panning using the "Wangake method" by utilizing the specific gravity of gold. Of course, the natural gold you collect is yours to keep. You can also make accessories such as straps.※Groups of 10 or more must make a reservation in advance.

Wakuya Manyo no Sato is comprised of the historic site zone, ruins plaza and Tenpyo Romankan (history museum and experience facility), with the Koganeyama Gold Mining Site, a national historic site, at its core.This theme center is made up of a history museum, a gold panning experience facility, and a direct sales store. It hosts events such as gold panning competitions and special exhibitions.You can also enjoy shopping for souvenirs.
