Make a traditional local dish using all natural and additive-free ingredients!

Use a traditional mortar to grind edamame and make “zunda mochi” (rice cakes with crushed edamame). Enjoy the delicious taste of fresh zunda mochi! Use pounded rice cakes to make the sweet zunda mochi.

Craft Studio Nadeshiko

Craft Studio Nadeshiko offers workshops to experience Tohoku and Miyagi culture through making Zunda (crushed edamame) mochi rice cakes workshop on location, miniature Tanabata Festival decorations, and various other seasonal crafts, as well as handmade goods and crafts, such as embroidered items and woodworking products featuring Tohoku and other crafts. Whether you are a parent, a child, a friend, or a solo traveler, we offer a quick and casual experience that you can enjoy. We look forward to your visit!

Important Notes for Participants	For hygiene reasons, food that has been prepared outside cannot be taken home. We prioritize the health and safety of our customers, and we kindly ask for your understanding in this matter.

Cancellation and Changes	Cancellations made up to 2 days before are free of charge. Due to preparation of materials, cancellations made the day before will incur a 50% charge, and cancellations on the day of the event will incur a 100% charge. *For group bookings, please notify us of cancellations at least one week in advance.
About Cancellation Fees	Please contact us promptly in case of reservation cancellation or changes. Please note that depending on the timing and availability, we may not be able to accommodate your request for changes.
