Experience the beauty of the sea with a stand-up-paddle (SUP)!

After arrival, change clothes in the changing room → prepare with warm-up exercises/stretching → listen to instructions about SUP.

Start the experience! → Start by practice rowing while sitting, then stand-up as you get used to SUP. → Connect with nature and enjoy the scenery.

Azuki no Niwa

Shichigahama used to be a popular seaside town, but then the tsunami triggered by the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011 struck. The beaches have reopened, but there are still few visitors. We want to make sure people don’t begin to hate the ocean, so we started our business “Azuki no Niwa” in the summer of 2018. The beautiful Matsushima Bay has the power to heal your heart from troubles. We will show you scenery of Matsushima like you have never seen before!

At Azuki no Niwa, groups are separated each hour so guests can enjoy small group, private tours on their own. Instructors are female, so we are also a popular experience for solo female travelers and girlfriend getaways!

Reservation Application Deadline	By 09:00 on the day
Cancellation Policy	May be canceled due to bad weather or natural disaster. The experience will still be held during rainy weather, but will be canceled in case of strong wind or stormy weather. In case of cancellation, we will inform you if the event is to be held by the day before.
Important Notes for Participants	Participants under 15 years of age must be accompanied by a guardian. Guardians are able to observe (and take pictures) from our deck.

Fee

Fee	SUP Experience: 7000 JPY (tax included)
Included in the fee	Participation fee, lifejacket, SUP equipment rental, guide fee, consumption tax, insurance.
Items not included in the fee	You can rent marine shoes for an additional 350 yen.
Fee Remarks	￥3,300 (小学生以下のお子様と同乗の場合) ＊大人と同乗(親子で1枚のSUPに乗る場合)
Payment Methods	Pay cash on the day (payment by credit card is not accepted). Some electronic money payments accepted (Rakuten Pay・PayPay).
Cancellation and Changes	In case we cancel because of strong wind or bad weather, there will be no cancellation fee. If the customer cancels the day before, day of, or is a no-show, 70% of the experience fee will be charged.
About Cancellation Fees	If you want to cancel or change your reservation, please contact us immediately.
Benefits	We are able to take pictures of you during the experience and send them for free by E-mail the following day.

Meeting Time	Come 10 minutes before your reserved time.
Access	--By Public Transportation-- ・JR Senseki Line: 15-minutes by taxi from Tagajo Station, Geba Station, or Hon-Shiogama Station. ・JR Tohoku Honsen: 20-minutes by taxi from Hon-Shiogama Station. ・Bus: Citizen Bus “Gururinko,” depart at bus stop “Toguchiku Bosaikanmae.” --By Car--　 Sanriku Expressway: 20-minute drive from Sendaiko-kita IC・Rifu-Shiogama IC.
Parking	There is. Free parking available (no reservation necessary). Room for 7-8 cars.
