Try your hand at painting and drawing your own manga character illustrations!

We offer a new experience every week!

Visitors can paint their favorite Ishinomori characters, freely draw illustrations, and create their own metal badges. Depending on the day, you can make metal badges, decorative straps, or bookmarks. Or make manga keychains by drawing designs on plastic boards. Also, there are experience programs to make large metal badges and leather straps.

-About the Museum-
Ishinomori Manga Museum (also known as the Ishinomaki Mangattan Museum), opened in 2001 to share Shotaro Ishinomori’s works from many perspectives and to introduce visitors to the limitless possibilities of manga. From 1964, Ishinomori begins producing his most well-known works, such as “Cyborg 009,” “Kamen Rider,” “Sabu to Ichi Torimono Hikae” ("Sabu and Ichi's Detective Memoirs") and begins to carry his work over to animation and live-action film. In 2008, the “Shotaro Ishinomori Complete Manga Works” published by Kadokawa Shoten was awarded the Guinness World Record for ‘most comics published by one author.’

At the Ishinomori Manga Museum (also known as the Ishinomaki Mangattan Museum), we hold various workshops where anyone can easily make manga goods such as metal badges and decorative straps. On a weekly basis, we offer 5 types of experience programs starting at just 200 yen. Whether child or adult, anyone can enjoy making their own original creations at our museum!
